Swapping tubes after a chat with AI – Mesa Nomad 45 – was it worth it?

In this video I replace the preamp tubes in my Mesa Nomad 45. I did it after a conversation with AI, which helped me choose the set best suited to the amplifier and to my playing style. The amp has 5 preamp tubes; previously all of them were JJ Electronics.

Now: V1 – Tung-Sol, V2, V3, V4 – Electro-Harmonix, V5 – Sovtek.
